Below are the agreements/terms from our device submission form.

Terms of Service

1. Diagnostic/Repair Fee/Labor Fee

I agree to pay the repair fee, which is set when this form is submitted to the technician, for my device, which is due at this form's submission. I understand that the cost for repair also may go towards parts needed for my device.

Diagnostic fees by default are $10-15.

Labor fee may depend on how long the repair takes. Labor fee is after repair is paid for and finished.

 2. No Soldering Policy

I understand that if any device I submit may require soldering (such as new thumbsticks or new ports), my request will be denied. The device will be returned in its current state and you will be refunded the diagnostic/repair fee.

3. Data Responsibility 

I understand that data loss may occur during a repair, and before I submit my device I should make a backup of my device software (if applicable for type of Device, e.g. phones or laptops) to one of the following:

A cloud service

A USB disk/drive

A CD/DVD if possible

An external HDD/SSD

Graison Fixes Tech is not responsible for data loss or corruption. 

4. Abandonment

I understand that if my device is not picked up (if applicable, if in driving distance from location) within 30 days, the device will be wiped and recycled or sold to cover costs. If this occurs you MAY be refunded a small or full cost amount. 

5. Warranty Voiding/Parts Policy 

I am aware that my device being opened voids the device's warranty, if not expired already.

I also acknowledge that parts for my device may be second hand and not official parts. Please note that Graison Fixes Tech is not an authorized service provider (ASP) for any brand, as it is a student-ran service.

6. Limitation of Liability 

In the event of the technician breaking or damaging your device further during repair, you will be notified and the additional damage will be fixed with no extra cost. If the device is entirely broken, a free replacement will be ordered on behalf of the technician.

Replacements are NOT eligible for the following device types due to price:

Mobile devices,

Desktops.
